NM8N1966Southern Utah is a wonderful place to have a wedding. I have opportunities to photograph weddings all over the country, from Alaska to Colorado and most places in-between. The greatest thing about Southern Utah is the predicable weather. Even in the winter month’s weddings can and do go on at outside venues.

This wedding was held out at the Entrada golf course were we photograph many weddings and receptions. Even though it is winter the formal procedure was held outside and it was stunning.
St. George has many locations for outside weddings and receptions that work any time of the year.

Danicas Wedding in Snow Canyon

by roypryor on Oct.31, 2009, under Weddings

Danica #1

This October has been an eventful month for weddings. One of our favorites was   this breathtaking wedding out at the Snow Canyon State Park. The bride (Danica) showed up undercover so know one would see her before the wedding started.

Wedding #2

The wedding ceremony was held up on the side of Lower Galoot in Snow Canyon. The contrast of the whole wedding party was stunning against the wispy clouds in a sapphire sky. Snow Canyon also has many colors that add to the disparity, red, black and white rocks.

6 Danica wore a nontraditional jade wedding gown that was gorgeous and worked well with the beautiful surroundings of the wilderness canyon. Her bouquet as well as all the floral decorations were real flowers and they were very distinctive.

5 The Groom (Eric) is a chef. He and his business partner took on the duty of the magnificent display of food and cakes. They prepared a whole pig as well as many side dishes and garnishing that made everyone excited. You could say the feast was enjoyed by all.

One of my favorite things to photograph is a wedding out in a beautiful setting with people that love life and enjoy the company of family and friends. This warm venue was fun for Jim Speth (My Photography Assistant) and myself as we photographed this incredible festivity. Life is Good.4
